Lauren Kaufman’s professional passion is to empower teachers to lead and share their gifts with others. She is currently an assistant principal. In her 16 years in education, she has served as an elementary classroom teacher, elementary and middle school literacy specialist, instructional coach, and new teacher mentor coordinator K-12. She continuously shares her love for learning by speaking at conferences, sharing on podcasts, writing blogs, articles for Edutopia, and is a contributing author in George Couros’ book, Because of a Teacher and Lainie Rowell’s book, Evolving with Gratitude.
